Where does the data come from?

Every building, plumbing, electrical and mechanical permit filed with Anne Arundel County. Permits are public records. We collect new filings every weekday and group them by the contractor's Maryland license number.

Can my reps call these contractors?

Yes. These are licensed businesses, and contacting them about your products is ordinary business-to-business sales.

Why do some names look odd?

We show each contractor as they're filed on the permit, which usually combines the license holder's name with the company, like "Gregory P Mahon Mahon Plumbing." The license number is the reliable ID, and the first name tells your rep who to ask for.
